In the spirit of “No One Fights Alone,” OGCC/Rhonda’s Club supports women in treatment for gynecologic cancers and their families.
Our mentoring program puts women in treatment for gynecologic cancers in touch with survivors to share experiences, support and advice throughout their medical journey. You can choose to connect by phone or meet in person.
Patient Care Bags
OGCC/Rhonda’s Club distributes patient care tote bags filled with medical information and comfort items to newly diagnosed ovarian and endometrial cancer patients. This program provides medical knowledge and encouragement to women as they journey through treatment. You can view the complete text for “No One Fights Alone,” a patients’ survival guide at
Access to Care
OGCC/Rhonda’s Club partners with the Washington Hospital Center to fund small grants for gynecologic cancer patients to help meet co-payments, drug costs, and other expenses of treatment. We also initiated a Gynecological Cancer Patient Support Fund administered through Sibley Memorial Hospital that has provided transportation to and from medical appointments for financially needy women, allowing them to maintain their treatment schedules
